  • Critical Thinking
I train people in Aristotelian logic, or what is often called critical thinking. The whole point of critical thinking is to think well, and then to shape your emotions and behaviour according to that. This is not about reducing life to cold, calculating reason; true critical thinking is wise, balanced, wholistic, it gives reality its due, including the realities of the heart.

Critical thinking teaches you to see things with clarity, and to see how aspects of them relate, and to reason well from one thing to another. You learn to do this with purely intellectual matters, and with emotional and relational issues, and with practical things.

In learning to reason, and to cultivate reason at the level of feeling and action as well, you become "a reasonable person," a clear-headed person, capable both of seeing things more objectively, and of navigating the world well, in all dimensions of life.

We live in a culture which is increasingly irrational, impulsive, addicted, egotistically blind, and emotionally incontinent. There are great benefits to your personal life, and to your flourishing in the world, when you become a skilled critical thinker, and when you embody those skills.

I am not yet offering this service. Currently I am designing a program. Please check in from time to time to see when it is ready.
